What is Frog @Ease & why is it so much easier to maintain than other sanitizing systems?

Frog @Ease is a sanitizing system that uses minerals and Smartchlor in a two-part system to keep your water cleaner, clearer, and softer. Minerals help to condition the water, while Smartchlor helps to sanitize. It uses up to 75% less chlorine and maintains a lower free chlorine by itself. With the Frog @Ease, all you have to do is set it and forget it!

What is Smartchlor?

Smartchlor maintains a reserve of chlorine, which converts to free chlorine anytime someone enters the tub. It is basically self-shocking, which means no more shocking after every use! With Smartchlor technology, you only need to shock the tub once a month using a non-chlorine shock.

How do I use Frog @Ease?

To get started, we’ll need to balance your water. The starter kit comes with test strips or you can bring your water sample into our store to be tested. The pH and the total alkalinity need to be in range for the Frog @Ease to sanitize properly. Once the water has been balanced, add the whole bag of start-up shock provided in the starter kit to the hot tub. Connect the two-part system and set the dial to the correct number. Place the floater in the hot tub and forget about it for 3-4 weeks! Frog @Ease will let you know when the Smartchlor cartridge (silver) needs to be replaced by flipping over, normally every 3-4 weeks. We recommend shocking your tub with a non-chlorine shock each time you change the silver cartridge, since they both need to happen with similar frequency. The mineral cartridge (blue), needs to be replaced every 4 months.
