What Is Simply Soft? 

Simply Soft is a fragranced chemical that contains borates. It has several positive effects when applied to your hot tub. 

What Are Borates? 

Borates are forms of boron that are used in lots of household products like cleaners, detergents and insecticides. In hot tubs, they are mainly used as a pH buffering system, preventing the pH from drifting up or down. 

How Does It Work? 

When added to a hot tub, Simply Soft will buffer pH, reduce staining and scaling, soften water, reduce chlorine demand, and help maintain crystal clear water. 

Why Do I Need It? 

Not only does Simply Soft smell great, it also reduces eye irritation and moisturizes the skin leaving you feeling soft after your soaking. 

How Do I Use It? 

The initial treatment is 4 ounces per 500 gallons of water. One single application will last months, until you decide to drain your hot tub. (Make sure you balance your water before adding the initial dose- Hydra offers free water testing!)
